It started in a kennel, not a boardroom

Bullies Galore Kennels has been raising American Bullies in Savannah, Georgia since 2015 — XL and Pocket bullies from champion bloodlines, health guaranteed, plus stud services. It is a family operation, and it is a loud one.

Running a kennel means dogs are around constantly, and people photograph them constantly. We noticed how little there was that a dog could actually wear and look good in. Everything was a costume: novelty prints, sizing that fit nothing, gone after one picture.

Why the shop is for every dog

Here is the thing we figured out: if a piece is shaped properly and made properly, it works on any dog. The fit that flatters an XL flatters a lab, a shepherd, a terrier, a rescue mutt of uncertain parentage.

So BGK Pet Supply Co. is not a bully shop. It is a dog style shop, built by people who are around dogs all day and got tired of them having nothing good to wear. Every breed, every size.

What we actually promise

• No mystery sizing. Measurements are listed plainly, and our size guide tells you how to measure your dog in about thirty seconds.
• Thirty days, no interrogation. If it does not fit your dog or your head, send it back. See returns.

The hats

The hats came first, and they came because people kept asking. Folks would see one of our dogs in one and want it immediately. So we made them properly — structured six-panel, three colorways, with ear openings and an adjustable chinstrap so they stay on a dog’s head rather than sliding straight off it.

That is where the name comes from. We put dogs on hats, and we put hats on dogs.
