Fit

Size guide

Two minutes with a soft tape saves you a return. You need two numbers: across the head, and around the neck.

01

Across the head

Measure straight across the top of the head, between the ears. Do not include the ears or any fluff — you want the head itself. This decides the crown size.

02

Around the neck

Measure around the neck just below the ears. This sets the chinstrap, which is the part actually keeping the hat on.

03

Check both

Compare both numbers to the chart. If they land in different sizes, go with the larger — the straps adjust down further than most.

Measurements are a guide. Head shape varies a lot between breeds, which is exactly why the ear straps and chinstrap adjust.

Ears through first

Gently pull each ear through the straps on the sides. Adjust them up, down, forward or back so nothing presses on the ears.

Two fingers at the chin

Fasten the chinstrap under the chin with about two fingers of space. Snug, never tight.

Lock the toggles

Slide the side toggles up to hold the fit. Recheck it the first few times your dog wears it.
